COVID-19 Precautions

Due to COVID regulations Shore Soccer will be doing a number of things to ensure player safety:

  • Teams will be required to check in upon arrival to the fields.  Each player will need to go through a COVID questionnaire screening and get their temperature checked at a table at the main entrance to the fields.
  • Players, coaches, referees and all Shore Soccer staff will be required to wear face masks before getting their temperature checked. Once checked they may remove their face mask and go warm up on field.
  • We strongly recommend that each player limit their spectators to (2) people per player.  We will require that all spectators be socially distant (6ft apart) and strongly recommend that spectators wear masks.
  • There can be no large team social gatherings of any kind before matches. Teams can show up 15 min prior to their match and need to leave as soon as the match is over. Players should not be out watching games prior or after theirs is over. Shore Soccer will be watching this.
  • There will be no shaking hands after matches.
  • All players on the sideline will be socially distanced (6ft apart).
  • We will sanitize all equipment prior to the games.

Shore Soccer will continually monitor guidance and information provided by the Governors office, the CDC, and federal and state officials as it relates to COVID-19. Policies and procedures for all activities will be adjusted as needed in order to provide our services while making every effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 to the best of our ability.

Should you have any questions on our guidelines or have any ideas on how we can improve our safety measures, please reach out to Liz Jones at, 240-832-8013 or via email at, [email protected].
